  16. While most of the threads are actually debating on whether AT should
  17. build some kind of AGA+ or AgaExtender or use some SVGA cards, I just
  18. wanted to point that 3DO and Cirrus (the PC svga cards makers) have signed
  19. an alliance (on 26 march) to develop new 3D chip for the PC and to integrate
  20. them in the Windows 95 3D API. The chips will be based on the 3DO M2.

  22. When you know how cheap most of the Cirrus cards are, it makes me wonder
  23. why some people still want to develop specific Amiga chips, while the
  24. 3DO technology will offer one of the best 3D support nowadays ?

  26. Actually, it will take AT more than 1 year to release the PowerAmiga.
  27. If they also need to design their own chip, we'll never see the PowerAmiga
  28. before 2 years !!

  33. Wouldn't a PPC604 + Amiga OS 4 + 3DO M2 be a dream machine ? For me it would,
